Glass blowing workshops

We have teamed up with Berlin Glas e.V. this year to deliver fantastic glass blowing workshops

This project aims to facilitate successful integration and inclusion of young women from diverse backgrounds through creative workshops centred around the unique artistic technique of glassblowing. The goal is to empower participants to design and create their own glass objects, promoting collaboration, teamwork, responsibility, self-confidence, education, and integration.

Berlin Glas team believes that glass art can serve as a tool for cultural exchange, breaking down barriers and fostering self-assurance. Furthermore, the project aims to promote gender equality in glassblowing, historically dominated by men.

Participants come in for regular workshops free of charge, where they learn to create glass objects of their own design. At the end of the project, a meal will be shared (with a professional chef!) in Berlin Glas studio using the glassware produced during the workshops, such as cups, plates, bottles, vases, candle holders, bowls, and sculptures.

Berlin Glas is Berlin’s first public-access glass studio open to artists, designers, students and curious beginners since 2011. Whether you are here to learn, create, or just explore, they have space for you.
They are all about sharing the magic of glass — keeping the ancient craft alive while building a creative, inclusive community. Through hands-on workshops, educational programs, and special projects, they make glassblowing and glass art accessible to everyone.
